Churchill Club, War Memorial in the Foreground

Henry behind the bar at Langfords First opened in the '70s as Langfords Club by the owner of the building Henry Langford Orford (left). Notable for it's collection of model aircraft in the front bar. When Henry retired in the early '80s the club went through various guises becoming, in chronological order, Skippers, Clouds, Kings and United Services Club.
In May 1993 it was opened as the Churchill Club by Bryan Mullarney assisted by his mother Winnie (picture on Cherry Tree page). Bryan reigned for 18 years before moving to the Railway Tavern, North Elmham early 2011.
